Even though the reviews stated how quiet it was, I was still amazed! It is very quiet, not too heavy, easy to handle, beaters insert and eject easily, and does an excellent job of mixing my cake and muffin batters. I am not a big baker, but, if I wanted to make bread or something more than cakes or muffins, I have the KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer, which, is wonderful. I have arthritis, especially in my hands and wrists. I was concerned that this mixer would be too heavy or awkward and I would have difficulty using it. Not at all. This is a great, inexpensive hand mixer.
My old hand mixer never really had a slow speed, and after putting up with it for years, I decided to change. After reading the reviews, I decided to get the Kitchen Aid. The first time I used it, I loved it. I love the new beaters, and it creams on low just great. I have it set up with the beaters in it, so I can grab it when I need it. I don't know why I waited so long to change my mixer. This makes my baking so much easier, and enjoyable, without batter whipping out of the bowl with my old mixer.
I'd earlier decided that I was going to stick with KitchenAid small appliances, and so far, this hand mixer confirms that decision. The beaters are significantly more substantial than those of my prior hand mixer whose beaters actually bent when mixing stiff dough; I love the electronic speed switching as well. I've used it several times during this past Holiday season to make cookies and some festive cheesecakes, and I couldn't be more pleased with its consistent performance.
This hand mixer is even more heavy duty than I anticipated. I have mixed up pretty heavy cookie dough, and it creams, folds like a champ. Whips cream (with the whisk attachment) perfectly.Stands up nicely. Easy to pop the beaters off and in. There is also an indicator that tells you which beater goes into which hole -- so you have a smooth beating experience.I have a Kitchen Aid stand mixer, but I only drag that bad boy out during the holidays. This hand mixer does the trick for every day use, and then some. I may even give my stand mixer a run for its money.
I bought and had to return a hand mixer due to the fact that the low speed flung everything out of the bowl! Low was the high speed of my last mixer. I searched and searched- and read reviews and most them had this complaint- no low speed. Then I found this KitchenAid KHM7210WH mixer. I chose seven speeds which is perfect. The soft start feature (the reason I bought it) brings the beaters up to the selected speed gradually to help prevent ingredients from splattering. . The highest speed is just good enough for beating eggs or higher speed mixing. It is not so high that it is scary or throws everything out of the bowl- which is just what I was looking for. I love this mixer. Nice colors to choose from and you can match it to your Kitchen Aid Stand-Up mixer- if you have one. The beaters are stainless steel turbo beaters and seem pretty sturdy. They also give you a whisk attachment for whipping egg whites or whipping cream. Cleans up easily. If you are looking for a hand mixer that starts off slow and won't throw your mix out of the bowl, I highly recommend.
I read hundreds of reviews on this before purchasing it. Some people didnt like the controls, but I didnt find an issue with them. I liked that you turn it off to the right, as that is the natural way your thumb would move as a right handed person. I didnt find the speed control up/down buttons to be difficult, either; I found it extremely convenient, but do agree it is easier to operate with shorter finger nails. The low speed is very low, and I LOVE that it always starts on low. I made a pound cake where I add in 1/2 cup of cake flour and an egg every two minutes. This was extremely convenient because each time I stopped to add more ingredients, the mixer started on low and nothing blew all over the counters. It was easy to then move back tospeed 4 to mix things. With regard to the beaters, there is a diagram where you insert the beaters that shows you that the larger one (with a washer-type piece) goes in the right one. The pieces without the washer-type piece (the other beater and the whisk) are designed to fit in either hole. If you read the instruction manual or follow the diagram, I dont see where you would have an issue, unless you receive a defective mixer in which case, send it back. The power of this mixer can be deceiving because of its quiet operation. If you associate speed with the noise you hear with most mixers, you will likely be disappointed. If you enjoy the quiet operation and watch the mixer do its job, you will likely LOVE it as I do.
Small batch, waffles, frosting. Quiet and efficient! It took 2 projects before I saw the detail near the holes for beaters! I saw the image, but not the extra little detail that distinguished the correct place for each beater! Very quiet! Easy controls and strong cord and plug! My first mixer lasted 46 years- I doubt that I will need this one for that long- we will see!
This product is great for the home chef who is often making recipes that require 2 different ingredients to be whipped or beaten and is too lazy to wash out the standing mixer bowl. I am frequently making cakes that need beaten egg whites and whipped fresh cream and this is a real time saver. Over 20+ years as a family and consumer science teacher and now a home chef predominantly, I've purchased more than my fair share of hand mixers. I was glad to find this quality product available at reasonable price. Yes, it does take some experience to operate, it isn't difficult, it just does more than the average mixer and that takes a little thinking.
After reading the reviews I decided to spend a little more on my hand mixer and bought this one. I'm SO glad I did. It's so nice and quiet running and works really well. I don't have counter space for a big mixer so have always used hand mixers. This one is by far the best one I've had.
I read a million reviews before buying this. People complain that it's slow, but I'd counter that with the fact that most blenders under $100 start out at 5/10 on the speed scale, which doesn't work when you're trying to gently whip something or your bowl is full of liquid! It has many speeds and works up to faster. I don't know if it can handle frozen butter (I kinda doubt it), but it does fine with refrigerated butter. It does stand on its end, so you can put it down while the whisks are dirty. It starts out very quiet compared to my last mixer - because it starts out slower, I imagine. Also, it's a pleasant 70s apple green.
I like the mixer but missed the fact that it had digital speed adjustments and that the on/off button is counter intuitive, at least to me, because it pushes 'On' to the left and 'Off' is to the right, which is opposite from the small Hamilton Beach mixer that I'd used for years but died right before Thanksgiving. When you turn it off and then back on it starts at the lowest speed whereas with the manual adjustment it starts back up at the speed you left it on. So if you turn it off in order to add other ingredients you have to step up the speed incrementally as you recall what speed you had it on previously after remembering that the On switch is to the left and not the right...not a biggie I guess, just different and will take some getting used to.
This hand mixer works great. I made a batch of peanut butter cookies for the husband Monday with an old set of beaters and the dough was tough. The beater Was struggling to mix the dough. I purchased the Kitchenaid 7 speed mixer. I purchased it on Prime and it came today. I made another batch and noticed the dough was softer and not dry. The cookies came out great. Chewy. I know it was the mixer that made the difference.
I'm no mixer expert but it does what I need it to and has enough power for what I need. It's not like a rocket but it mixes well, looks nice and it's comfortable to hold. It's also easy to use. The cord is pretty long as well which is nice.
Ok, I own one of these already and just bought this one for my mom. Even though I own the huge 6 qt. professional Kitchen Aid, I find myself reaching for this guy all the time. The 6 qt. mixer seems like a really good idea until you realize that almost every normal recipe is too small for it. That's where this handy dandy little guy comes in. I use it for everything from whipping eggs for breakfast, whipping cream, creaming butter etc... and it always does the job. What I love:* The style of the beaters. I still remember the old style that used the flattened metal for the beaters. These thin rounded ones are totally where it's at! If you haven't tried this style I highly recommend giving it a spin.* great control over speed, mine has 6 speed settings.* Lots of power for a hand mixer. I've owned cheaper units in the past and let me tell you, there's a HUGE difference! This one is worth the extra $* Easy to operate, it always ejects the beaters, performs consistently etc...* Great size to just leave out on the counter.Aaaaaand I'm totally jealous her mixer comes with the extra wisk attachment, I didn't get one!My only complaint is that I wish it went one speed higher. I find myself wishing it would whip a little faster at the top end for whipping cream etc... However, don't think it won't do the job. It has always been great for me, it's just personal preference that has probably been formed from years of using stand mixers. If you need to upgrade but can't afford the full on stand mixer, I highly suggest giving this a try. Granted, it won't have the power on the top end for thick batters or bread etc... but for almost everything you'd need, it will do the job and do it well.

The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the controls could be a little easier to use. With so many inexpensive options on the market, paying this much for a mixer is a risk but... it is worth it. Finally a mixer that makes slow increases in speed. It doesn't look or feel cheap like other ones and the gradual speed is what you want in a hand mixer. I love this one.
I have only had this mixer since just before Christmas, so I can't speak for its longevity, but I can say this is a really nice hand mixer out of the box.I previously had a cheap mixer from wal mart that started to smell like an electrical fire. The cheaper mixer had three speed settings, but they were all way too fast.I used this new mixer to make Christmas dinner for 12 people, and it was so much easier to use. The extra speeds are perfect, and it's not overly fast like my old mixer (the old one used to spray food all over the walls).I also love the shape of the attachments because there is less surface area for the food to stick too than there was on my old attachments.I'm in love with this mixer so far. I just hope it lasts longer than my last one.

Best hand mixer I have had yet. Our last Faberware lasted 20+ years so I have always had great experiences with KithenAid. This one is no exception. The low speed is low so you do not get blasted with whatever you are mixing. The only downside was only receiving 1 set of mixers. The last set fit, so we kept those as alternatives. Hope this helps.
I replaced a large KitchenAid Counter mixer with this little red hand mixer. The big mixer took up precious counter top space and I seldom used or needed it......it wasn't just "handy" to use like a hand mixer is. This one I have already used more times than I every did the large mixer. the beaters are good and sturdy and if you read the instructions the off/on and 7 speeds are easy and handy to use......I've only used it for small jobs....like cakes, cookies, mashed potatoes, etc......but I am thrilled with my purchase and free counter space!
Our old hand mixer was on it's last legs, we did not want to purchase a cheap hamilton mixer that would break 6 months later and would be impossible to find new whisks for if one got broken as they all seem to be "outdated" now and replacement whisk is like $30 if you can find one. We also could not afford $250 for a complete stand mixer. After looking at mixed reviews and problems for all the budget models, I found this inexpensive high reviewed hand mixer model from a trusted name brand company. When we received it in the mail and I opened the box, I knew right away that this was going to be a great hand mixer, the quality is so much better than hamilton or any other no name brand mixer. It's also really pretty and it works fabulous, we've had it for over 6 months now and it still works perfectly, we use this mixer a lot and it's made baking/cooking so much easier. My mom loves this mixer too! 5 stars
I had to purchase this mixer because my $10 mixer of a different brand died after two years. I thought Id upgrade a bit this time and chose this mixer based on user and professional reviews. Some things are the same as the $10 mixer, such as the general style. Most everything else is an upgrade. I do miss the snap on base that stores the cord, beaters and accessories of my cheap mixer.Unlike the previous mixer, the beaters actually locked and stay in place. This beater handles batter very well and hasnt gotten clogged. Its been easy operate and does not overheat.
I had a super cheap hand mixer I bought when I was a poor college student, and the thing lasted for like 15 years. Then I saw this appliance advertised for black friday 2018 and decided to splurge. It is amazing! It is a little heavy since the motor is more heavy duty, and I'm little so it seems big in my tiny hands, but it gets the job done. Mashed potatoes are nice and whipped in just a minute or two. Even did a thick cream cheese dessert filling and it had absolutely no problem. Really glad I bought it.

WOW! What a great little mixer. Hubby prefers a hand mixer to my stand mixer so uses one frequently, so I wanted him to have a new RED one for Christmas. When he used it tonight I couldn't believe how quiet it was compared to the one he'd been using for years. He also liked that it starts slow at first to keep spatter down. He said it was a great gift and he'll enjoy it every time he uses it.
Overall great product and very happy I bought it. Feels solid in my hand and surprisingly compact. Two minor design complaints.1) There is a very bright little light near the on button that is kind of blinding when using the product. Seems unnecessary (I don't need a light to tell me my beaters are on!).2) Also, if you have the beaters on a setting above 1 and turn it off for a moment (like you always do when scraping a bowl or folding in more ingredients), it will reset to 1 when you turn it on again. Super minor, but you always have to up the power level again (past beaters I've owned didn't do this).
Worth every penny! Has a slow start that doesnt splatter whipped cream or powdered sugar everywhere when Im mixing. Its not the most powerful if you were making a huge batch of thick dough cookies or bread but works fantastic and I would easily purchase again!
This mixer replaces a Black & Decker Pro that I had owned for years and hated the whole time I owned it. Haven't used this KitchenAid a lot yet, but I have been thrilled each time I have pulled it out. The choices in speeds suit my purposes perfectly, and I am in awe of how little it throws dough etc. outside of the bowl even when the bowl I am using is small or when I tip the mixer to an angle as I add additional ingredients for my recipe. Such a cleanup savings compared to my Black & Decker that made a mess EVERY time I used it. Also love the the way the KitchenAid's (KA) electric cord can be changed in direction. That is a real plus for me since I use it at different places within my kitchen. Having read the reviews, I was a little concerned about the heaviness of this KA mixer, but I don't feel any weight difference between this one and my last hand mixer. I gave it 5 stars about its durability on faith, but it earned its five stars for easy to clean and easy to hold. All in all, I am just thrilled with this mixer; baking has become so much more fun (and pretty because of the Empire Red color) than it ever was in the past. I have a five star rating for myself for the amount of gushing I have done to friends and family over this mixer.
I bought this as an intermediate step in replacing a stand mixer. I dont do a lot of baking but needed something for everyday utility mixing. Relying on KitchenAids big mixer quality, I opted for this and am. very pleased. It is well-balanced and has a good range of speeds, most importantly its slow speed which many other products dont seem to have. The attachments are solid stainless and robust enough for most home jobs. The color brightens up my kitchen. It may be a while before I feel the need for a new table model. Excellent product!
So this is a great mixer, it does the job of mixing very well at the varying speeds that are adjustable with a button and LED's for the different speeds... It looks really good and for the price it's hard to beat.I was thinking of getting the big kitchen aid mixer but I noticed friends who had both just used the handheld when they made everything except ice cream or an attachment for the big one's accessory slot which my parents never used on theirs... I think the handheld one is easier to clean and that's why friends use this over the big one.
This is the hand mixer to get. Very, very easy to use and to adjust the speed on the fly. The speed settings actually change the speed, unlike other mixers I tried which did not adjust the speed much. This one is actually slow when you put it on the lowest speed. Love it!!
I bought this hand mixer because I am no longer able to lift my big stand mixer. I was afraid the hand mixer would leave me missing my big mixer, but not so! I have only used it on cake batter and cookie dough, but it sliced right through the thick dough. The controls are easy to operate. Beater insertion and release are easy too. I don't give it 5 stars because there is no onboard storage for the beaters.
I bought this after my old one of many years crapped out. This one works, but doesn't seem as powerful as my old one. Gets the job done though.
The mixer is great as is the multiple speeds. The beaters thought are cheap and their quality leaves a bit to be desired. IT does mix reasonable well however, but the beaters just feel cheap and insubstantial.
like it ...........dont totally love it but dont hate it either............even though it has 7 speeds it doesn't really seem to speed up as you go higher on the speed button.....seems like it goes to 5 and then 6 and 7 are still 5.........not crazy about the button situation either...maybe cause i have a cuisanart hand mixer (which starts up like its on 5) probably just have to get used to the kitchenaid buttons ....although to it's benefit it does start up nice and slow which is good for puddings and such...........another thing is that when you wash the beaters and the whisk they have a funny rusty metal after-smell..........
I bought a NEW hand mixer to give as a gift and this is what I received?! Unless KitchenAid has decided to reduce their carbon footprint by eliminating the use of cardboard and/or other packaging, Im severely disappointed. I cant give this as a gift!* UPDATE *I ended up purchasing a replacement hand mixer from a local store so Id know it would arrive in giftable packaging for lack of a better term. Nevertheless, weve been using this hand mixer at home and have been pretty satisfied (its prevented us from having to get the stand mixer out for everything, which is a huge win in my book). Moral of the story: if youre buying it for yourself, order away! If you intend to give it as a gift, Ill let you make that decision...
Been a little obsessed with baking lately. I love this mixer. Beats hand mixing by far! The only complaint that I have is that it's pretty heavy, so my arm gets tired really fast while using it. Still love it!
I bought this Kitchen Aid 7-Speed Mixer for my 91 year old mother. She was concerned that the new hand mixers might be too heavy, but has found this one easy to handle. I have the Kitchen Aid 9-Speed hand mixer, and couldn't be more pleased, so was confident that she'd be equally satisfied with the 7-Speed. After using the whisk attachment, I never want to be without it! I HIGHLY recommend the Kitchen Aid hand mixers.
I gave away my KitchenAid stand mixer with the glass bowls as it was just too heavy for me to manage now. I wondered if this smaller mixer would perform well, as I had burned out more than one mixer years ago when our children were at home. I was very pleasantly surprised that this small, lightweight mixer really does the job well!! It got a lot of use during this past holiday season. I highly recommend this product.
Bought this to replace a kitchen aid stand mixer. I loved the stand mixer but we are spending some time in our RV and needed something strong but smaller. I make cheesecakes and honestly this hand mixer seems to do a better job then the stand mixer.
THIS IS SO GREAT. I grew up with a Kitchenaid stand mixer so I knew the brand was good quality. I don't have the cash or space for a big one right now though, so I hoped this seven-speed one was made to the same standard. is it ever! it's quiet, and you can blend flour and other powdery ingredients into wet ones without spattered powder all over your kitchen. I'm so very glad I picked this up -- 14/10 would recommend!!
I bought this because I own a 20 year old Kitchen Aid Professional Stand Mixer which is still running like new through weekly bread making. I needed a small hand mixer because I have gone through several cheaper brands with great disappointment. This mixer is another great Kitchen Aid product. It is smooth and quiet while powerful enough to do the smaller jobs for which my bigger mixer is too bulky.
A gift for mom that was a huge hit! Her old hand mixer only had three speeds and basically started on "high," leaving all the ingredients once in the bowl all over the kitchen. This one starts out nice and slow and lets you build up to the appropriate speed without making a mess. I have had one just like it for years and still love it. KitchenAid knows what they're doing!
Received a gift certificate, and chose this mixer. I figure you can't go wrong with KitchenAid. I've only used it once or twice, but I'm loving it so far. I like the digital speeds. The lower speeds are sufficient for most purposes such as mixing cakes and cookies. I'm not sure the highest speed would even be necessary for whipping egg whites. I appreciate that this mixer comes with the whipping wire. Saves me from getting out my stand mixer for smaller jobs.
it was a gift for my daughter. she loves that it has works like a charm every time...and it gets an awful lot of use...pretty much daily use in fact. she likes that it is powerful enough to handle heavier jobs, even some doughs. the design is nice and the controls are convenient. she's gone through so many hand mixers, but this one has stood up to the challenges...three years and going strong! i'd absolutely purchase this again. it is what you would expect from the quality produced by KitchenAid.

This mixer was purchased to replace an older one that just didn't have the power to handle thick cookie batters. Was I ever pleased when I first put this one to the test. Not only powerful but relatively quiet, too. On top of that, it's beautiful to look at and feels balanced in my hand when I'm using it.
I love this kitchen aid mixer! It's compact and doesn't take up all the counter space like the traditional mixers. I use it for mixing things and that's about all that this hand held kitchen aid mixer can do. So if you're looking for a mixer that is kitchen aid quality but candidates afford the price or the kitchen counter space this is the hands held mixer for you! There's 7 speeds to this mixer I have found that I don't need to go above speed 3 for my mixing needs.
Yes I have received the kitchen aid 7 speed digital hand mixer. And, I am very pleased. I turned it on an it gave a quiet purr just right. The speeds are excellent. I have already used #1 and 2. They are great. The pie mix was mixed in no time. I a very happy with this purchase. And, I would buy it again.Thank you.

Love this mixer, decided to go with the 7-speed for better control over a wider variety of mixing needs, strong enough for mashing root veggies and mixing heavy frosting and batters. Shipping was fast and arrived ahead of estimated delivery date, Thanks so much.

the digital speed control is a little more tedious to use than the normal analogue speed control most blenders have. Outside of that its a wonderful blender. metallic band around the appliance was not placed with care and bubbles away from the body of the mixer because it was placed crooked.
Bought for motherinlaw's birthday. She loved it. She makes fresh whip cream often and this whipped it up like magic. She also like the swivel power cord. Way better than buying a cheap no name model. Will last her a lifetime, and we get to enjoy all the food she creates using it! Win Win.
This was purchased as a gift, so I can't give it a personal review. I hope the bride and groom love it!
Good mixer. Like other comments speed seems a little less than I'm used to but if you believe its because of the "action" and you don't need the extra speed then OK. I used it as I normally would any blender and it did exactly what it needed to do.
I hesitated to buy this because of negative reviews, but I am glad I did buy it. I like the slow start mode, the quiet operation, and the fact that it is light and easy to grip. I have only used it a couple of times so far, since I just received it, but so far it seems great.
This thing is super quiet and adjustable from very slow to very fast. Our last mixer which was made by the same company as my old cordless drill was near deafening loud and it's low speed was like an airplane engine humming along at cruising speed so we would always get food everywhere. My spouse does a lot of baking so quiet and low speed made it worth the extra $20-30 more than the lower priced ones.
I appreciate the extra whisk attachment. I was disappointed with the overall weight...seems rather light compared with my previous KitchenAid mixer (which was not that old). It is mainly the weight of the outer casing on the mixer with which I am disappointed. Also, not completely happy with the power switch. May just be a matter of getting used to a new mixer but I think KitchenAid took a step backward with this design.
Best mixer I have ever used! Very durable, great price, nice look, and very quiet! In love with this product!
Purchased for my wife as the one she had would fling stuff everywhere. I thought it was just the nature of the hand held mixers, but my wife proved me wrong with this one and it works great. No more mess and she is happy.
The overall power is great, the only problem so far( after 2 uses) is the button to increase the speed is awkward to use. If you have nails that are longer than the tip of your finger, you have to push your thumb forward further to use the button so you don't damage it from the pressure of just you nail on it. I do like having matching appliances in my kitchen so that is a plus with my kitchen aid stand mixer on my counter.
It was better than expected. it was heavy duty and very easy to use. i would recommend this machine for anyone who likes to bake.
I purchased this for a wedding gift as my future granddaughter-in-law chose this and I am sure she looked at all the aspects of it. I'm sure it is durable and easy to clean. It looks just like the one I have and it is very easy to hold.
It goes 'veroom veroom' and it mixes. When my two hands gets tired of mixing manually, I switch to this thing and boy does it work faster than my hands. I became a black belt in hand mixing with a south Brazilian jujitsu mixer black belt and still not faster than this.Easy to clean, easy to detach parts and swap. Multiple speed adjusting. Very high quality and durable.Con: the parts are expensive, so wait for them to go on sale
this was a gift to my daughter (now a just barely a senior) when her other brand mixer died, to use with her daughter. Mine, purchased when my daughter was a child, still works better than any brand I have ever used in mine or in other peoples' kitchens.
Very durable and a nice heavy-duty mixer. Bought this to replace my mixer that wouldnt even hold the beaters in place - well, this one works well! Highly recommend this to you, just keep an eye on pricing.
I'm accustomed to the Kitchen Aide stand mixer, but find this hand held version quite adequate. The slow-start is a godsend feature that's particularly useful. It's strong, mixes thoroughly, is fairly quiet, and cleans up easily. Don't think I'm going to try kneading bread dough with it - the mixer is likely strong enough for the job, but I don't think I'm strong enough to hang on to it ?
Only thing I dont like is the speed button. Not easy to use one hand to hold it and turn up/down the mixing speed. However I still prefer using these over my fancy shmancy kitchen aid pro mixer.
I was amazed at the feel of this little mixer in my hand. It took a while toput it together and learn how to make it work. I can't wait to bake somethingso I can actually see it in action!
really like this mixer - purchased after my cuisinart broke - the beaters would no longer stay in and we couldn't fix it. I like the kitchenaid.. it is surprising lighter, quieter - and more simple to use.
Kitchen aid appliances never disappoint. Works wonders and mixes with no issues. No loud mixing noises like other mixers that seem to overwork themselves only to have accomplished half the job. Definitely recommend, quality to last years
I've used this mixer several times now to make cookies and other baked items. It's easy to clean, not too heavy to hold while mixing ingredients such as oatmeal and peanut butter. It's a game changer for someone who had only used a whisk by hand.
I needed a new hand-mixer and the ones locally available seemed cheap. I ordered this one and have not regretted it. Good quality, easy to use, and does a superb job.
I had a $20 mixer that I used for almost 30 years, so I was a bit hesitant about paying so much for a mixer. I LOVE THIS MIXER!!! I don't think I'll need to buy another one for the rest of my life. Would definitely recommend it. It's sturdy, easy to use and I like the many speeds. Did I say I LOVE THIS MIXER?!!!
I love that this has a very low speed as well as a very high speed for creaming butter. The whisk attachment makes whipped cream much faster than using beaters on a regular hand mixer. I use this for all of my mixing, forsaking my stand mixer altogether. I will buy another if this ever gives out.
I love this mixer! The 7 speed is fantastic on it! I bake a lot and I love how slick this hand mixer looks. Its nice and quiet which is perfect if youre watching a cooking video while baking.
This is a very nice and durable mixer. Easy to use. Looks good too.
Needed quality hand mixer for good price. This is simple but exactly what I needed when I don't want to lug my stand mixer out. Would definitely recommend!
I love this product, that I recently purchased. Its not heavy and so easy to use. Wish it came with the dough hooks too.
The wife likes it. Seems well made. Does what they all do. The real test will be durability. If it gives many years of flawless performance it will have earned the 5 star rating I've given.

It's hard to buy things that really come up to expectations but this mixer did. Works great even on low power, handled stiff biscuit mix without a problem and has 6 different speeds for real
Christmas gift for my daughter. Her first one got damaged in a move and she was very upset. Loves the new one more than the original. Whips cream in seconds
I used it the first day it arrived. It mixes & blends well however the button on top to increase or decrease speed can be a little challenging to use if your a messy baker. While mixing chocolate chip cookie dough my mixing hand had flour/batter on it and I had difficulty adjusting the speed. The cookies turned out great though:)
I love my new mixer! It is quiet and effecitent. I do not bake enough for the big KitchenAid mixer and this is perfect for me. It dosen't take up too much room in my kitchen and is easy to use. I have always had older mixers, variety of brands - nothing compares to this one. Even if I just pull it out for Christmas cookies, it is worth the buy.
Love the slow start up as many hand mixers start out too fast and spatter things. It works well but you have to move a sliding button to turn it off and on which is not REAL convenient but not a huge deal -- just have to get used to it. It mixes everything I have wanted to mix but I feel the highest speed is not as fast as some. It may be my imagination!
I don't love the speed change function. Logically, I don't think about pushing a little button up or down for speed after switching it on with another switch. I still have to think about it. It does have great power though.

I love it! It is easy to use, very good quality, it comes in a small box, with its rods.
We are very hard on our mixers and this one is keeping up great! We bake all the time and we use our mixer almost daily. It is working great and really pushes through for a hand mixer. Would absolutely recommend this mixer!
Best hand-mixer I've ever used! Smoothly changes speeds, and with 7 speeds it meets the needs for any recipe. The only thing lacking was that there was no usage booklet included, as was typical for all my other KitchenAid products. I would love to know how to get the usage tips and recipes normally provided in the booklets sent with their products.

Great mixer. Quiet and not much vibration. Could be a little faster though at top speed. I ordered a 9 speed version and gave our daughter the 7 speed model because it was still a quality machine. Wish they would put more info about the motor power though, but maybe the motor is not as strong as other mixers, but that could be why it's so quiet and smooth. I was happy with it though, but my wife wanted a little faster model.
Works well as advertised. Multi speed, with good low and higher speeds. Starts in low so no splattering and high speed is good for whipping cream and egg whites.
Very well made. I've been using it for several months now and I like the weight of the mixer and seems very well made. Also easy to clean
Works very well for smaller batches, have used it for cookies & breads. it is much quieter and lighter weight than my previous hand mixer and has a better cord swivel. Had to get used to the on/off side moving switch. I enjoy the convenience and less clean up of a hand mixer.
This mixer actually has a slow speed! I made cookies with it, it handled the thick dough perfectly, and I didn't get flour scattered all over the kitchen. With my old mixer, I looked like a snowman when I mixed flour into a dough. The power button is just a little awkward to turn off, but I'll get used to it. Some of the reviews said the beaters looked flimsy, but they actually look pretty strong. They're thin metal blades, which makes it easier to get all the dough off if them. I've only used it the once, but I'm in love with this mixer!

I had a hard time deciding between the Cuisinart (rated #1 by America's Test Kitchen) and this KitchenAid hand mixer. After receiving the KA, I inserted the beaters and turned the KA unit on in the air. The beaters seemed "wobbly" and I was worried that I may have made a mistake. Then I actually beat egg whites into a meringue (a good test) and found that they whipped up much quicker than usual. Now I think the "wobbly" beaters are built to orbit that way to improve the mixing. The "slow" start is a nice feature, too, and it keeps a thin batter from splashing out when the beaters are first inserted. Because there is little splashing, I find that it's also easier to clean this mixer. About two weeks after purchasing the KA mixer, I was delighted when I read that this year the KitchenAid is rated #1 by America's Test Kitchen! Official validation for my own good taste/instincts.
Powerful. Smooth mixing. Love! Still getting used to the power button. It is left/right. All my other hand mixers were forward/back switch.
Replaced an older hand mixer with one of the top hand mixers available-KitchenAid. Great little mixer with good power to mix just about anything except maybe bread dough. Cord swivels so that it wont twist when switching hands to mix with. Should last long time.
Mixer works very well and is a good value. The 1st level is slower than my old hand mixer so I don't have ingredients flying out of the bowl anymore. I wish the 7th speed was a bit faster. Great red color too.
This was a gift although I have a 5 speed version and absolutely love it. Love the rounded cord which is easy to clean, the balance of the mixer and appears to be well made.
This mixer has power...even at low speed. The digital motos is very steady. Have used to make pizza dough, cookie dough and batters already with all being very easy using this tool.
Love using this mixer. With one hand you can easily turn it on and off and change speed. Very sturdy design and excellent quality. Highly recommend!
I love this mixer! I have been wanting a KitchenAid mixer for years. But I dont have the space for a stand mixer. When my off-brand hand mixer died, I was pleased to see a KitchenAid hand mixer for sale. So I thought I would try it. It is quiet, efficient, and good-lookng. I like having the multiple gear options, too. I dont feel the need for a stand mixer any more.
Good mixer. The mixer is designed to start slowly and work up to speed. This gives the impression that it isn't very powerful, but one shouldn't expect to use a hand mixer to mix stiff doughs. Its great for batters, meringues and frostings.
